Goody Clancy Welcomes 11 New Team Members!

There are a lot of new faces around Goody Clancy! Over the past few months, we’ve welcomed 11 new colleagues, each bringing a distinct mix of experience, interests, and perspectives that make our practice stronger.

Joining our leadership team as a Senior Associate, Daniel Guzas has more than 30 years of experience tackling complex design challenges. Drawn to higher education, Dan is eager to share his knowledge and serve as a mentor and resource for the next generation of architects.

Senior Project Architect Mark Hallee pairs more than 30 years of design and technical experience with a passion for renovation and adaptive reuse. He sees existing conditions as opportunities to uncover thoughtful solutions that make places work and feel better.

With experience spanning healthcare and education, Kayleen O’Brien, Project Architect, approaches architecture with a people-first perspective. She enjoys solving the complex puzzle of how a building comes together while keeping sight of how each decision shapes the people who use it.

Fascinated by the relationship between old and new, Lance Smith has a particular passion for adaptive reuse and renovation. His creative eye and technical mindset inform an approach grounded in research, collaboration, and thoughtful problem-solving as a Project Architect.

For Victoria Goodisman, design is an opportunity to turn complex constraints into something worth celebrating. Her experience with hospitality and performance spaces has shaped a thoughtful, people-centered approach grounded in curiosity and attention to detail.

Scott Greenbaum is particularly drawn to education projects and their ability to support learning, community, and connection. With strengths in conceptual design and detailing, he also brings a deep appreciation for collaboration and mentorship.

With a passion for adaptive reuse and community-centered design, Meitong “Sophia” Liu uses visualization and graphic communication to bring ideas to life and is excited to continue developing those skills through collaborative project work.

From immersive environments to universities, museums, and cultural organizations, Oliver McGovern’s experience has reinforced his interest in how design shapes the way people experience the world. He especially enjoys using visual communication to move ideas from imagination to reality.

A background in both design and construction gives Josh Robertson an appreciation for thoughtful detailing and the complexities of existing buildings. His interest in higher education has drawn him toward creating long-lasting spaces centered on the people and communities they serve.

Curiosity drives Jacob Seddelmeyer’s approach to architecture. With experience across mixed-use, hospitality, adaptive reuse, and urban development, he is interested in creating healthy, sustainable spaces that strengthen institutional communities and respond thoughtfully to what already exists.

And supporting all that activity is our new Office Coordinator, Lisa Purdy. With more than five years of workplace operations experience in higher education architecture, Lisa understands what design teams need to do their best work and helps keep our office welcoming, organized, and running smoothly.

We’re thrilled to have them here and look forward to the ideas, experiences, and perspectives they’ll contribute to Goody Clancy.
