Victoria Goodisman

Designer

Victoria was drawn to architecture by its blend of art, science, and math—and its power to shape how people live and connect in thoughtfully designed spaces. She approaches design as a puzzle: understanding the constraints, finding a solution, and then pushing further to make those constraints worth celebrating.

Her design work has only reinforced her interest in complex, people-centered spaces. In her previous role, she designed a theater, which showed her the intentionality behind hospitality and performance environments—and how architecture can become part of the performance itself. She holds a Master of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania.

Victoria’s first exposure to Goody Clancy was at a firm-hosted event, where the people and projects left a lasting impression. Today, she brings curiosity and close attention to detail to the process of developing ideas into fully realized buildings. She is motivated by creating spaces that support their users and help communities and connections grow.

Victoria is happiest when her hands—and usually her brain—are busy. Her craft interests range from crochet and origami to rug tufting, and she is equally enthusiastic about board games and puzzles. Clearly, her urge to make and solve things does not clock out at the end of the day!
