Driven by curiosity, Jacob sees every project as an opportunity to learn, solve problems, and create spaces that improve everyday life. What started as an interest in home renovation shows during high school grew into a passion for architecture, a field that is the perfect blend of history, science, creativity, and lifelong learning.
Before joining Goody Clancy, Jacob worked on a diverse range of mixed-use, hospitality, adaptive reuse, and urban development projects. One of his proudest accomplishments was helping lead the restoration of the historic Sandman Hotel in Fort Worth following a major gas explosion. The project required balancing preservation requirements with modern building systems while coordinating consultants throughout construction.
Jacob is driven by the opportunity to create healthy, sustainable spaces that positively influence everyday life. Drawn to Goody Clancy's collaborative culture and commitment to education, adaptive reuse, and community-centered design, he's excited to contribute to projects that strengthen institutions and the communities they serve.
Outside the office, Jacob is an avid fantasy reader with a growing passport collection. He's visited thirteen countries—and counting—and is always planning his next adventure.
