A bold, mixed-use high-rise to transform Austin’s skyline

21c Austin will bring dramatic change to the Texas city’s skyline. Occupying a full downtown block, the 44-story mixed-use facility will include hotel, restaurant, retail, and contemporary museum space, as well as residential condominiums. The project ranks among the tallest planned in Austin.

Designed of stone and glass, the building’s lower stories are scaled to fit with the surrounding historic district, while the tower offers commanding views of the city neighborhood and valley. Multiple ground floor entrances will encourage an active street life and connect the facility to the neighborhood. Plans for the site also include five levels of underground parking.

  • Condominium residents will have access to the hotel amenities including a spa, a fitness center, and an outdoor rooftop pool.
  • A world-class contemporary art museum will offer free admission year-round to allow the public to experience original art in a nontraditional setting.
  • In keeping with the project’s arts theme, a dozen units will be available for rent at below-market rates to artists and musicians.
  • The project complies with Austin’s Green Building Program and will feature a green roof along with other sustainable features.
