Preservation

Goody Clancy’s work on historic buildings and modern landmarks includes the assessment, restoration, and rehabilitation of structures that span centuries. We take pride in our skill and resourcefulness in integrating modern systems, providing accessibility and code compliance, improving functionality and respecting the historic character of the buildings entrusted to us. We have preserved and revitalized many of our nation’s most treasured buildings, including Boston’s Trinity Church, Faneuil Hall and the Massachusetts State House. We have also renovated historically significant buildings at some of the country’s most distinguished colleges and universities, renewing underutilized resources for future generations to enjoy.

The broad scope of our capabilities includes feasibility studies, historic restoration and renovation, application of green design features, accessibility improvements, and state-of-the-art telecommunications technology. Our preservation staff includes a team of seasoned architects and architectural conservators.
