Associate Justin Dufrense grew up as the quintessential Lego and K’NEX kidconstantly building model ships and airplanes with his grandfather and fascinated by the process of turning pictures into physical objects. Justin was in fourth grade when he learned that architects spend their days transforming ideas into actual buildings and spaces. He’s been doing just that ever since.

At Goody Clancy, Justin  excels at both project management and exterior envelope detailing. He has a knack for distilling complex ideas or challenges into simple concepts, and is constantly seeking opportunities to challenge himself and try new things. He’s brought his ace organizational skills and multitasking ability to work that includes Swarthmore’s Martin Hall and The University of Virginia’s Bond House.

Outside the office, you might find Justin wrangling Genevieve, Cornelius, and Vivienne, his three pretentious but lovable standard poodles.

The college experience sets students up to become their future selves. By creating the buildings and spaces where students live, learn, and interact, we have a hand in shaping those experiences.
