Zac Gaudet

Designer

From a young age, Zachary has been fascinated by the architectural worlds and realms created in the films of Hayao Miyazaki. The impact that these atmospheres have had on their audiences led Zachary to pursue a career in design, where he could similarly shape everyday spaces in new and exciting ways.

In his time at Goody Clancy, Zachary has drawn plans, executed 3D modeling and rendering, and picked up red lines. A highly organized designer, Zachary is always ready and able to roll with the punches, as he regularly identifies and executes timely workflows that keep projects on schedule. He especially enjoys working in the higher education sector, where he can focus on creating spaces that allow students to be both productive and creative. Zachary is most excited when he can introduce new meanings to existing buildings, a process that highlights design’s ability to transform and improve an inherited built environment.

When he’s not hard at work, Zachary enjoys exploring the world around him while playing Pokémon Go. He is also an enthusiastic ice-skater and yogi.

I’m always amazed by our ability to bring new meaning to existing buildings by using adaptive and cutting-edge interventions. Good Clancy revitalizes buildings while simultaneously paying homage to their histories, designing with respect for the past, present, and future.
