Sydney is driven by a perpetual desire to learn new things. Her role at Goody Clancy reflects her broad interests, and includes drafting, programming, planning, and consultant coordination. She finds inspiration in the mentorship of her colleagues and enjoys collaborating with them to create innovative new spaces for learning and community. Sydney’s willingness to take on new challenges is one of her greatest strengths, allowing her to approach problems with a fresh perspective and find creative solutions.
Sydney’s initial curiosity about a career in architecture sprang from her love of both math and art. Her passion for architectural design was solidified through study abroad in Greece, Italy, Spain, and China. Through her travels—which included visits to 40 different cities—she experienced firsthand the impact that good design can have on a person's experience in a space.
