Before embarking on her architectural career, Soyeon explored a range of fields, but none of them seemed to be the right fit. One day, she stumbled upon an article about an architect and found inspiration in the practical yet imaginative problem-solving approach that the profession offered. Soon after, she applied to architecture schools abroad and has been enjoying her work ever since.
Soyeon is proficient in a variety of software and tools that help facilitate out-of-the-box thinking. She enjoys integrating analytic processes into her work, such as with environmental analyses or optimization tools, and sharing them with colleagues to improve workflows and design outcomes. Working closely with consultants, clients, and colleagues, she helps develop design ideas from concept to construction.
With over fifteen years of experience, Soyeon is a practiced yogi who can back-bend into the impressive shape of a rainbow.
