Safia Boustique

Designer Co-op

LEED Green Associate

Safia’s path to architecture started early: think poster board, glue stick, and a pile of HGTV magazines. That DIY spirit evolved into a love for adaptive reuse and a belief that good design should serve both people and the planet. She brings this passion to Goody Clancy, where she’s especially drawn to projects that give existing buildings a second life.

Safia got her first taste of architectural impact while interning on the renovation of her university’s architecture building. She translated her classmates’ and professors’ pain points into real improvements and then watched those ideas get built. This hands-on experience stuck with her, and it’s what drives her to approach each project with both creativity and care.

Now a Master of Architecture student at Northeastern, Safia is excited to dig into community-focused design and DEI work at Goody Clancy. She’s also a music encyclopedist and live show enthusiast, with an uncanny knack for recommending songs you don’t know (but probably should).

I know existing spaces carry deep meaning for their communities—layers of memory and emotion built over time. I aim to preserve that character while introducing thoughtful improvements that make the space even more impactful.
