Rebecca Fletcher

Architect

AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Rebecca’s love for architecture budded while her parents built her childhood home, introducing her to the transformative process of turning dreams into floor plans and floor plans into living, breathing spaces. She deepened her interests during architecture school by focusing on historic preservation and sustainable design, topics she remains passionate about today.

Not one to shy away from complexity, Rebecca enjoys the puzzle-piece nature of renovation projects and of working on campuses where each building is part of a greater ecosystem. Her prior experience includes a comprehensive renovation of a 1920’s schoolhouse building, preparing it for another century of future use with myriad interior and exterior improvements. She brings knowledge and enthusiasm to Goody Clancy’s higher education projects, developing high-level design solutions that address sustainability, preservation, and accessibility issues on college campuses.

As an “avid collector of hobbies,” Rebecca’s current pastimes include baking, traveling, gaming, tap dancing, reading, crocheting, embroidering, painting, candle making, and more. She’s also been slowly fixing up her house and hopes to add gardening to her hobby repertoire.

I hope the spaces I design make the end user’s life happier or easier in some way. If I can do that while making the world a more sustainable and beautiful place, my work will be worth it.
