Matt has always loved drawing, making, and problem solving—so architecture is a natural fit. Today, Matt is motivated to create spaces where communities are made, creative collisions occur, and lifelong friends are found.

A versatile leader in design and project management, Matt strives to foster a supportive and collaborative work environment. His even-keel approach is founded upon clear communication and a steadfast commitment to quality in design and construction. He is particularly proud of his work on the Forbes Beeler Residence Hall at Carnegie Mellon University, a project that he worked on from napkin sketch to ribbon cutting. Other notable projects of Matt’s include the Student Pavilion Programming & Concept Study at Boston College and the Irving Institute for Energy and Society at Dartmouth College.

Outside of managing projects, Matt enjoys playing the guitar with his band and listening to a wide spectrum of musical genres. He is also father to two young daughters who actually laugh at his dad jokes.

It excites me to think that the leaders, thinkers, and creators of the future will inhabit an environment we design as a place of respite, a place of community, a place to incubate their ideas.
