Ceylin has always been fascinated by the way buildings influence people’s daily lives. She values both the technical craft and the human impact of architecture, believing that meaningful design emerges from the integration of the two. Her perspective was shaped by her experience with an adaptive reuse project that transformed a historic stone mansion into a boutique hotel in her hometown, demonstrating how architecture can preserve character, while creating new opportunities for connection.
At Goody Clancy, Ceylin is inspired by her role in creating environments that strengthen institutions and the communities they serve. She is drawn to architecture’s ability to connect people and place, and to how well-designed spaces can influence the ways we feel, learn, and engage with one another. She looks forward to collaborating with colleagues who challenge ideas, exchange knowledge, and support her continued growth as a designer.
Outside of the office, Ceylin enjoys staying active and has played a wide range of sports from volleyball and tennis to badminton and soccer. Her love of teamwork and competition even earned her a spot on her high school’s soccer team.
