Todd Symonds, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Principal
Todd is an accomplished project leader and team manager with responsibility for some of the firm’s largest and most complex projects for higher education and government clients. A creative problem-solver, Todd ensures that the integrity of the client’s vision is faithfully executed through the course of the design and construction process. He keeps the team on schedule and on budget while managing multiple stakeholders and complex regulatory and construction requirements. Through many years of practice on large-scale renovation projects, Todd has developed broad expertise in the renovation of historically significant American buildings from the 18th to the 20th centuries.
Within Goody Clancy, he has become a firm-wide resource for other project leaders, through his support of best practices in project documentation, team organization, client relations and mentorship of emerging project managers.
Todd’s recent and current projects include the new school of Business at Florida State University, and renovations to buildings on the historic St Elizabeth’s campus in Washington, DC for the U. S. Department of Homeland Security.
