Jefferson Poole, AIA, LEED AP BD+C

Associate Principal

As an Associate Principal at the firm with more than 17 years experience, Jefferson has worked from the macro-scale of urban planning to the micro-scale of architectural interventions within existing buildings, and has proven his ability to synthesize clear solutions to complex problems. Jefferson’s work embodies a strong commitment to advancing transformative design that integrates the principles of sustainability with a clear design logic. Jefferson has been the design lead for some of Goody Clancy’s most prestigious projects including the Ruth Mulan Chu Chao Center at the Harvard Business School, the Integrated Sciences Complex at UMass Boston, and the West Addition to the historic St Elizabeth’s campus in Washington, DC for the U. S. Department of Homeland Security. Permeating his work is an acute attention to detail to create spaces rich in meaning, connection and delight.

Jefferson received his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University and a Master of Architecture & Urban Culture from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Barcelona. Since 2015, Jefferson has served as a Co-Chair of the firm’s 2030 Committee and has taken on an expanded presence within the broader design and sustainability community.
