Zsuzsanna Gaspar and Dennis Swinford Lead Campus of the Future Seminar

Goody Clancy Principal Zsuzsanna Gaspar and Higher Education Planning Practice Leader Dennis Swinford are teaching a seminar titled Campus of the Future at Roger Williams University this semester. With the help of several expert guest presenters, Zsuzsanna and Dennis will facilitate fourteen class discussions with various themes that center around the future of each physical system that, combined, creates a place-based campus.

Because the future of technology was this week’s theme, the class attended Roger Williams University’s Technology Futures Symposium where they listened to futurist Dr. Bryan Alexander; higher education industry experts; and thought leaders from Google, Microsoft, and Apple discuss their visions of the future of technology in higher education. These engaging presentations sparked classroom dialogue about the changing power of technology.

The seminar marks the second time in recent years that Goody Clancy has taught at Roger Williams. Led by Zsuzsanna, we also served as Teaching Firm in Residence during the fall of 2016. The Teaching Firm in Residence Program brings lead participants from noted firms to share their knowledge and professional experience with graduate architecture students. We are honored to be back on campus—exchanging ideas with students, thought leaders, and members of the campus community. Thank you for having us, Roger Williams University!
