Upstate Neuroscience Research Building is Completed
We are pleased to announce that SUNY/Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY) has occupied the new 155,000 square-foot Upstate Neuroscience Research Building (UNRB). This major new laboratory wing connects to the Institute for Human Performance at Upstate’s main campus. The exterior of this new wing is clad in a dynamic metal panel system with an iridescent finish, yielding a changing range of colors as one moves past it or as the daylight changes. The research laboratories are designed for a high level of flexibility, and are supported by a full-floor vivarium and imaging center. At the junction of new and existing, an inviting, two-story linear atrium brings together shared meeting spaces and informal collaboration areas.
