We are delighted to share that the Gant Science Complex at the University of Connecticut has been recognized with a Design Award of Merit by The American Institute of Architects (AIA) CT!
Designed in collaboration with Mitchell Giurgola, our phased-while-occupied renovation of Gant transformed the mid-20th century building into a vibrant center for science teaching and research. Our design for phases 1 and 2 includes a variety of flexible teaching labs, research labs, and classrooms, as well as a beautiful glass-enclosed Light Court where students and faculty can collaborate and socialize.
