Rohrer College of Business at Rowan University Breaks Ground

On Friday December 12th, Rowan University, located in Glassboro, NJ, broke ground for a new $63 million, 96,500 SF building for the Rohrer College of Business. Project manager and senior associate Ray Urban represented Goody Clancy, who is designing the building in partnership with KSS Architects. The building directly supports Rowan University’s four pillars; increasing access, improving quality, maintaining affordability and serving as an economic engine for South Jersey.

Accolades for the building’s design include:

A spectacular facility by any measure, the building will allow us to attract the best students and professors to Rowan University.

-Rowan University president Ali Houshmand

The building was designed specifically to enhance Rohrer’s unique approach to business education. It’s an approach that is built upon collaboration, small class sizes, project-based learning, problem solving, teamwork and entrepreneurship. The building will give our college much-needed facilities to enhance and build upon our educational hallmarks…and to enhance strong partnerships with business leaders throughout the region.

-Rohrer College of Business interim dean Daniel McFarland
