Reconciling Water and the Built World: Goody Clancy gears up for APT’s Annual Symposium

Water, history, and technology: the relationship between these three reckonable forces will draw hundreds of the Northeast’s top preservation professionals to tomorrow’s Association for Preservation Technology (APT) Northeast Chapter Annual Symposium. Building off the theme of “Water and Its Impact on Historic Sites and Structures,” Goody Clancy architect Andrea Brue will offer her expertise in a presentation titled “Navigating Uncharted Waters: Flood Proofing a Historic Site.” We are also proud to announce our own Jill Verhosek is up for election to the board of directors. Jean Carroon, Amanda Sanders, and Kate Daly will join Andrea and Jill in the chance to connect with colleagues on the frontier of preservation’s most pressing issues. The event will be held at one of Newport’s most stunning historical mansions, Marble House. Registration is still open here.
