Planning Practice Makes a Splash at SNEAPA
Our planning and urban design practice was well-represented at this year’s Southern New England American Planning Association (SNEAPA) Conference, “Diverse & Dynamic: Planners & Places”. Principal David Spillane and Associate Principal Ben Carlson presented Providence and Hartford as case studies for “Restoring Vibrant Downtowns through Highway Transformation.” Senior Associate Amy Kaiser served up “Makerhoods: The Power of Funky,” a presentation that unpacked how cities like Burlington approach the growth and sustainability of artist and maker neighborhoods. All SNEAPA presentations are now online. Thanks to all for an excellent event of catching up with and learning from colleagues in a wealth of planning disciplines!
