Jean Carroon Voted BSA 1st Vice President/President-Elect

Goody Clancy’s own Jean Carroon has been elected 1st Vice President/President-elect of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA). Jean will assume the role of Vice President in 2018 and serve as President in 2019. This accomplishment reflects Jean’s exemplary commitment to civic and professional leadership.

As a candidate, Jean outlined her vision for her BSA presidency should she be elected:

“We must choose to commit to changing the future, using the power of our membership in the BSA to address climate change, resiliency, and social equity. The BSA can command a vital role by strengthening connections to affiliated organizations and engaging our young professionals as present and future leaders to leverage the power of design. These are my priorities which build upon the vitality of the 50+ grassroots committees of the BSA and partnerships with the BSA Foundation and the AIA—Massachusetts.”

As one of Goody Clancy’s Principals and a longtime engaged BSA member, we can’t wait to see what else Jean achieves with this new role. Congratulations, Jean!
