BU Admissions Center Wins 2017 BSA Honor Award for Design Excellence
Goody Clancy is pleased to announce that the Boston Society of Architects has recognized our work on Boston University’s Alan and Sherry Leventhal Admissions Center with a 2017 Honor Award for Design Excellence.
The facility was created through the comprehensive renovation of the unique “flatiron”-shape four-level building, as well as an elegant glass-enclosed addition on the north side that expanded the building’s usable space. The program includes a 180-seat auditorium, meeting rooms, waiting and social areas, faculty offices, and all-new systems. Not only does the building represent an aesthetic feat, the LEED Gold-certified project is also a sustainable model for adaptive reuse on campus.
