AIAU Picks Up Embodied Carbon 101 Series
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has recently picked up the Embodied Carbon 101 series in order to help AEC professionals understand embodied carbon more deeply and implement carbon neutral strategies through their design work.
Each course in the series is led by experts in sustainable design, including Goody Clancy’s Lori Ferriss, AIA, PE, LEED AP, who is a contributing member of the Embodied Carbon advisory group. Embodied Carbon 101 originally launched in August 2020 as a 12-part program presented by the Boston Society for Architecture with support from the Boston Hub of the Carbon Leadership Forum, and received frequent contributions from members of the International Living Future Institute and the SEI – Structural Engineering Institute . Goody Clancy is a proud sponsor of the series.
