Integrated Sciences Complex at UMass Boston Earns LEED Gold Certification

We learned earlier today from the USGBC that our design for the Integrated Sciences Complex at UMass Boston has struck gold! The coalescence of many design decisions in the name of sustainability has earned the 225,000 GSF building LEED Gold Certification. A few of its many green features include high-performance glazing, a complete “cool roof” system, and the seamless inclusion of regional building materials.
