Academic
Goody Clancy has designed most every type of building found in educational settings. We have collaborated with academic institutions across the country, from universities to prep schools. Most of our work is with colleges and universities, including many well known historic campuses such as those of Harvard, Yale, Dartmouth, and Princeton. Many have been repeat clients for more than thirty years.
We have worked on the country’s first business school, the Tuck School of Management at Dartmouth College, and on the country’s earliest law school building, Henry Hobson Richardson’s Austin Hall at Harvard. Many of the facilities on these historic campuses require major makeovers. Our charge is to bring these venerable buildings into the twenty-first century while preserving their essential historical character.
