Institutions

Goody Clancy’s campus planning practice produce effective plans that guide institutions of higher learning into a competitive future by managing growth; addressing parking, vehicular and pedestrian circulation; identifying sites for future facilities; and deepening sense of place.

The firm's closely related work on institutions & communities moves beyond the campus edge and helps academic, research, and other institutions—and their host communities—create mutually beneficial revitalization and development plans. We frequently structure innovative working partnerships that can sustain collaboration and communication long after our work ends.

Goody Clancy assists academic, medical, and other institutions with facility planning, and community revitalization and institution-sponsored real estate development. Our work guides growth and change for universities, colleges, and major health care and research centers, and addresses campus planning and expansion with a community-sensitive approach.

Recent clients include a wide variety of colleges and universities, organizations representing hospitals and research institutions, and public agencies. We have created plans for community revitalization and real estate development for public and private institutions such as Emmanuel College, MIT, and the University of Akron. We also led the development of a vision and plan for revitalizing High Street, the front door to Ohio State University, which has generated more than $100 million of private, institutional, and public investment to date.
