Goody Clancy is working with the City of Columbus on a new vision and implementation plan for transforming an underutilized 200-acre urban neighborhood adjacent to the Columbus Central Business District. The project seeks to build on the unique grassroots efforts already underway and to facilitate residential and commercial investment by and for creative professionals. The planning process includes detailed market studies to understand fully the residential, retail, and office markets and their potential for this district; an urban design approach to guaranteeing reinvestment occurs in an organic fashion commensurate with the grittiness of East Franklinton; and an implementation strategy that brings all parties together to jointly move forward on a common vision.
